Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using Spill or purchasing a reading, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Spill.

3. What Spill is

Spill analyses a WhatsApp chat export that you choose to upload and produces a one-time, multi-card relationship-insights reading. Features and the contents of the reading may change over time.

4. AI-generated content

Your reading is an AI-generated interpretation of patterns in your chat. It may contain inaccuracies or draw conclusions you disagree with. It is provided for entertainment and personal reflection only, and is not professional advice of any kind — psychological, medical, legal or financial. Any decision you make after reading it remains entirely yours.

We make no promise about any outcome in your relationship, and Spill must not be relied on as a statement of fact about any person.

5. Your chat

You confirm that you are a participant in the conversation you upload and that you are lawfully in possession of it. You keep ownership of your chat. You give us a limited permission to process it solely to produce your reading and to improve how the analysis works, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Free statistics are computed in your browser. If you purchase a reading, the chat text you submit is deleted within 7 days.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Spill:

• to upload a conversation you are not a participant in;
• to monitor, profile or harass any person;
• to upload content you have no lawful right to hold or submit;
• in any way that breaks applicable law, or to bypass payment or technical limits.

7. Price, payment and taxes

Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable taxes. A reading is a one-time purchase — there is no subscription and no recurring charge.

Payments are handled by an authorised third-party payment partner, and completing a purchase means accepting that partner's terms. We never see or store your full card or UPI credentials.

8. Delivery

Your reading appears on screen immediately after payment, at a private link. Save or bookmark that link — it is how you return to your reading. Any card still being written completes at the same link, normally within minutes and no later than 24 hours.

We deliver on screen only. We do not send your reading by email or WhatsApp — that is a deliberate privacy choice. If you lose your link, email support@heyspill.com with your payment reference and we will restore access.

9. Refund policy

Because a reading is generated for you and delivered immediately, purchases are non-refundable once your reading has been generated.

We will refund you in full if the product failed. That includes:

• your reading was never generated, or never became available at your link;
• one or more cards failed to complete and we could not fix it;
• you were charged more than once for the same order;
• a technical fault on our side made your reading unusable.

To request a refund, email support@heyspill.com within 7 days of purchase with your payment reference (UPI or order ID) or your reading link. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within 5–7 business days.

Disagreeing with what your reading says is not by itself a product failure — the reading is an interpretation, as set out in section 4. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under Indian consumer protection law.

10. Intellectual property

Spill, its software, branding and underlying technology belong to Akari Labs. Your reading is yours to keep, screenshot and share as you wish.

11. Suspension and termination

We may refuse service or block access where there is fraud, payment abuse, automated scraping, or use that breaks section 6. You can stop using Spill at any time. Sections that should survive termination — including liability limits and governing law — continue to apply.

12. Limitation of liability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Akari Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim relating to these terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid us.

13. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including hosting or third-party provider outages, internet disruption, or government action.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer protection law, the courts of Bangalore have jurisdiction over any dispute.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date, and continuing to use Spill after that constitutes acceptance.
